Robert Barish, M.D. – A noted expert in the field of electrocardiogramy in emergency medicine settings, Dr. Barish serves as Chancellor, LSU Health Sciences Center, where he was appointed in January, 2009. Previously, he served as Vice Dean for Clinical Affairs and Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore. He is the co-author of a textbook on electrocardiogramy in emergency medicine. He also wrote or co-authored 63 journal articles and book chapters and delivered more than 200 speeches on emergency medicine, cardiology, and snakebite treatments. In 2006, he was named America’s Top Emergency Medicine Physician by the Consumers’ Research Council of America. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and a fellow of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine. He is a graduate of New York Medical College.
Ken Blackwell - Secretary Blackwell is the former State Treasurer and Secretary of State of Ohio and currently Vice Chairman of the Republican National Committee's Platform Committee. He was also Ohio's 2006 Republican gubernatorial candidate. His long career in public service includes terms as Mayor of Cincinnati, Undersecretary at the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, and US Ambassador to the United Nations Human Rights Commission. He was a founding partner of Blue Chip Broadcasting Company. Mr. Blackwell is a former board member of Fifth Third Bank. A lifelong resident of Cincinnati, he is a graduate of Xavier University.
Nathan Estruth – Mr. Estruth possesses more than 18 years of experience with Procter & Gamble and is currently the Vice President and General Manager of P&G FutureWorks, the business unit that works across many of P&G’s divisions to develop and incubate new corporate growth ventures. Mr. Estruth has been on the forefront of business model innovation and entrepreneurial culture at P&G for nearly a decade, having developed and led a corporate services strategy, entry into Pet Health Insurance with the Iams Brand, the Swiss Precision Diagnostics global JV with Inverness Medical, the equity partnership with MDVIP for wellness-oriented healthcare, the Mr. Clean Car Wash and Tide Dry Cleaning franchise start-ups, and several other new businesses. Nathan earned a Bachelor’s degree from UCLA.
Vada Hill – Mr. Hill provides our Company expertise in marketing, strategy, market research and other key areas focused on business growth. He is an internationally renowned, award-winning marketer with a track record of breakthrough innovation across the financial services, restaurant, healthcare, packaged goods and political/public service arenas. His executive roles include serving as the Chief Marketing Officer (“CMO”) for the Fannie Mae Corporation and Taco Bell. As Taco Bell's CMO, he developed and led the highly successful “Chihuahua” and “Viva Gorditas” campaigns, earning him Advertising Age’s award as the lead “50 Most Powerful Marketers”. He has additionally served in various executive roles at BBDO Worldwide, Ogilvy & Mather, and Procter & Gamble. He is a graduate of Harvard University.
Dean J. Kereiakes, M.D. - Dr. Kereiakes, an expert on cardiology and cardiology-related technologies, is Medical Director of The Christ Hospital Heart and Vascular Center, Medical Director of the Carl and Edyth Lindner Center for Research and Education, Chairman, Executive Committee of The Ohio Heart & Vascular Center, and Professor of Clinical Medicine at Ohio State University. Dr. Kereiakes has been an investigator for most of the interventional technologies introduced in the last two decades and has performed more than 25,000 catheterization laboratory procedures. In addition to lecturing nationally and internationally, Dr. Kereiakes is very active as a clinical and scientific investigator and has participated in over 800 clinical research protocols. He has published over 600 journal articles, abstracts and book chapters. He serves on the editorial boards of Circulation, The Journal of the American College of Cardiology, Journal of the American College of Cardiology Cardiovascular Interventions, The American Heart Journal, Journal of Invasive Cardiology, The American Journal of Cardiology and The Journal of Interventional Cardiology, as well as being a Section Editor for MedReviews (New Drugs and Devices). He was previously a Section Editor for Circulation. Dr. Kereiakes is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
Dr. Ed Goldman - Dr. Goldman is the co-founder of MDVIP and was the company’s Chief Executive Officer until 2009. During his 30-year career in medicine, Dr. Goldman has taken a leadership role in all the major movements in health care, including HMOs, practice management, and preventive health care. Prior to co-founding MDVIP, Dr. Goldman was Chief Executive Officer of Cybear, Inc., a NASDAQ company. He also served as founding partner and Chief Medical Officer for PhyMatrix, and from1994 to 1996, was President of PhyChoice, a PhyMatrix subsidiary. Before joining PhyMatrix, Dr. Goldman was the founder and Chairman of Pal-Med Health Services. Dr. Goldman is a board certified family practice physician who has spent 25 years in solo and group practice. Dr. Goldman served in the United States Public Health Service and was a research fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, Georgia. He is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Medicine.
